STRUCUTED BOARDING

Structured Boarding is ideal for vacations, quick trips out of town, and emergencies. This option is a great alternative to your local doggie daycare or other boarding facilities — not all dogs thrive in large facilities with lots going on (constant barking, overstimulation, no structured downtime or routine, etc). Even a hired house/pet-sitter isn’t able to maintain the structure and routine you’ve worked so hard to implement! With Structured Boarding, you never have to worry about your dog losing training progress due to free-for-all play and lack of structure while you’re away.

Your dog will:

  • stay in a heated/air conditioned home

  • be in a calm, controlled environment

  • uphold and build upon training we’ve worked hard to put in place

  • have daily walks, structured play, passive training (place/crate time)

  • receive daily feedings / medication (if needed) as instructed by owner

Since Structured Boarding does not include active training, only maintenance of previous foundational training, a training refresher can be added to your dog’s stay! At $10 per day, we’ll work hard to address any areas you’d like to see improvement.

$75/night
or $80/night (holiday week)

Structured Boarding is only open to previous or current clients who have completed at least 3-5 Private Lessons (with e-collar conditioning) or have completed a Board & Train program.

Structured Boarding is on a case by case basis, dependent on temperament and training progress.

  • Your dog is getting a lot more quality one on one attention, and our time together is used to maintain the training and good behavior we’ve worked so hard to implement. This makes sure your dog come backs to you with the same training they had when you left, and ensures they don’t pick up any new bad habits while you’re away!

    You also get the benefit of your dog staying in a family home environment versus an (often) stress-inducing facility.

    • enough food for the duration of their stay, +2-3 days extra in case of an emergency extended stay and/or training treats

    • crate and bedding (unless otherwise specified by Caitlin)

    • training tools (ex: e-collar, leash, prong collar)

    • favorite toy :)

  • There’s no maximum stay! Your dog is welcome to stay as long as my availability permits.
